WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF IN-SEASON TRAINING?
Acceleration places great emphasis on ANALYSIS, EDUCATION, CONDITIONING, and RESULTS generated over the 2month training schedual of the IN-SEASON.
I understand players are required to keep his or her physical levels at their highest during the SEASON.
I understand the Coach requires Conditioned athletes to commit to every game.
I want you too, to understand the importance of reducing recovery time between training and game day, allow your physical fitness to be at its peak for game day week in week out, whilst also reducing your risk of INJURY. Simply ask Jason Calina, Michael Thwaite, Shane Smeltz or the other players from GC United.
If you have GREATER physical fitness, ENDURANCE and agility over your team mates and other players, you not only perform greater, but also allow yourself adequate time for developing and fine tuning balls skills, foot movements and set plays without the loss of valuable TIME.
The IN-SEASON FOOTBALL program will include:
PROGRAM 1 -
Is designed to maintain your general fitness whilst also focusing on Foot SPEED, Ankle and Knee stability, Flexibilty and Core strength. This is a tapered program specialy designed specifically to be used while you are IN-SEASON.
PROGRAM 2 -
Is designed to directly complement Program 1. It is designed to create MAXIMUM endurance for the entirity of the season, generate large increases in Speed, and improve your Running Technique (Improve AEOROBIC fitness). This training is designed to keep you on the field and not on the bench.
